HOW WE STARTED

Sung Beng Auto Trading was founded in 1969 at Sims Avenue by the current director’s late father: Mr. Tan San Beng, who then only dealt with car accessories. Since 2009, the company had new products and services released under one roof. 1969 SBA has fulfilled its long-cherished dream of making Sung Beng Auto Trading the best One Stop Solution Center for automotive.

Mr. Frankie Tan, now the Managing Director of the company after his father’s demise, carries with him the desire to fulfil his father’s dream. Having learned his parents’ exemplary conduct before him, the ‘never-say-die’ entrepreneur has vowed:

1969 SBA today, aside from providing the usual car accessory services like sound system, car alarm, and air fresheners, the workshop is also reputed for its performance and pickup power upgrades with fuel efficiency & ECU tuning, aesthetic enhancements, and vehicle interior entertainment installations. Not to mention services like 24-hours towing, breakdown/accident claim/repair/engine overhaul, computerised troubleshooting diagnostic scan, spray painting, vehicle grooming, and rentals. Founded in 1969 at Sims Avenue as Sung Beng Auto Trading by the company director's father: Mr. Tan San Beng, who provided services for car accessories.

2011

Won the Successful Entrepreneur in 2011 which was organized by GRC Press Holdings, as a yearly initiative that recognizes exceptional individuals and organizational Singapore entrepreneurs in their respective fields.
